The Aavin Milk booth No. 478 which was earlier functioning at
the junction of School Road and Park Road was unceremoniously closed about 18
months ago.
The closure of the booth has caused untold hardship to a large
number of residents of the area, particularly the senior citizens, who have
cover more than a kilo meter and collect the milk pockets from the AVM near Leo
School. Anna Nagar Western Extension Association has made petitions to re-open
the Milk booth at its original place.
The Association has submitted details of
the problem to the various authorities, including the Honourable Minister and is
awaiting a favourable and positive action.
