Nature Forever Society has teamed up with Bushnell and AM Industrial
Enterprises to involve citizens into conservation and monitoring of birds in
the India. Mohammed Dilawar, Founder-President of NFS said that the aim of the
NFS Bushnell Bird of the Month Photo competition is to encourage people to
explore and photo document the wonders of nature in and around their homes,
offices, schools and residential complexes.
The event aims to create awareness
in regard to the common birds found in and around human habitation and make
people aware than wildlife can be found in their immediate vicinity also and
not only in National Parks and Sanctuaries.
Mohammed Dilawar says that through
the medium of photo competition NFS aims to encourage people to monitor the
common birds around human habitation and become citizen scientist as there are
critical gaps in our knowledge about the distribution and population about our
common birds.
Mohammed Dilawar appeals to bird, nature lovers, photographers,
students, house wives, business men and working professionals to actively take
part in the photo competition which has a different theme every month. All
entries must be submitted by 23 of every month by email on
photos@natureforever.org late entries will not be accepted. Nature
Forever Society is being working for the conservation of House Sparrows and
