Anna Nagar has witnessed many traffic
diversions due to the ongoing Chennai Metro Rail work along 2nd
Avenue Road. The one way traffic movement along Jawaharlal Nehru Road,13th Main
Road, Shanthi Colony and 5th Avenue is posing a risk to pedestrians,
particularly at the time of crossing the road.
Vehicles continuously move on

Extension suggested that pedestrian crossings zones should be marked with
signboards. Posting as many traffic policemen will be helpful to the road
users.
