Indira Nagar Bridge Would Decongest Madhya Kailash Junction

The photo shows the view of the newly constructed bridge connecting Indira Nagar and Rajiv Gandhi Road. The wide Indira Nagar bridge across the Buckingham Canal will considerably decongest traffic in and around Madhya Kailash junction. The new bridge, connecting Rajiv Gandhi Road or OMR, near Tidel Park, and Indira Nagar, would help to reduce traffic at the busy Thiruvanmiyur junction.

Motorists proceeding from Besant Nagar, Adyar telephone exchange and Indira Nagar areas and bound for Velachery, Taramani and Rajiv Gandhi Salai can take this bridge.

It would also reduce time and fuel consumption for those coming on Rajiv Gandhi Road and proceeding towards Adyar and Santhome. The bridge has pedestrian footpaths on both sides. The facility is very near the Indira Nagar MRTS station.
