The Student Council Investiture ceremony of Valliammal
College for Women, Anna Nagar East was held on 18th July 2012 in the
college auditorium. The ceremony began with a special prayer. Dr.M.R.Srinivasan
M.Sc., MBA., Ph.D., Professor &
Head, Department of Statistics Dean, College Development Council, University of
Madras was the chief guest.
The students received their badges from the chief
guest amid a loud cheering.
The Chief guest, Dr.M.R.Srinivasan congratulated
the student council members and gave words of wisdom.
The student Council
members taking the Oath of Office, solemnly pledge that they would abide by the
rules and regulations of the college and execute meticulously the duties
allotted to them in a systematic manner and uphold the values, tradition of the
college. The ceremony ended with the vote of thanks.
