To mark the threshold of the new
academic year, the management of Shri Krishnaswamy College for Women, 6th Main
Road, Anna Nagar, arranged a one day Faculty Development Programme on 15th
June 2012. Dr.KP.Malathi Shiri, College Principal welcomed the
gathering in introduced the special guest.
The programme titled “
Towards Fostering Better Ties” by Dr. Indira Jeyaraj, Head of the Department of
English, SBOA Matriculation Higher Secondary School.
Dr Indira Jeyaraj is a
versatile academician with over 25 years of teaching experience to her credit.
She has played a very significant role in bonding a positive outlook between
teachers and students in her school. Her ice-breaking session left a mark on
the teachers by adopting the “alter ego” style.
Dr. Indira used many an
activity to emphasize on the role and importance of student – teacher
relationship in a class room environment.. Her presentation also spanned the
need for a sound peer attitude in a work atmosphere.
