The construction work for a new storm water drain on School Road, Anna Nagar Western Extension, in front of Thirumangalam Police Station and Home for the Handicapped is nearing completion. About 70 percent of the work has been completed. The Chennai Corporation has constructed a new storm water drainage system along School Road, because the entire road gets waterlogged during the rainy season.
