Tournament Winners

The Religare Finvest Ltd, emerged victorious in the Chennai Bank League (CBL) 2012 Cricket Tournament. The tournament commenced on 13^th May 2012. The Banks that actively participated in the tournament were HDB Financial Services Ltd, Religare Finvest Ltd, Cholamandalam, Future Capital and Detusche Bank. 

In the final match of Chennai Bank League (CBL) 2012 Cricket Tournament was played at Simpson ground, Marina in Chennai city. Religare Finvest Ltd defeated Cholamandalam by 4 wickets.

 Opting to bat first, Cholamandalam piled up 128 runs in the stipulated 20 over’s with the help of half century knock by Krishnaraj (61). Balaji of Religare scored 43 runs out of 32 balls taking Religare to lift the winner’s trophy.

Mr.Siddharth, Asst.Vice-President of Cholamandalam and Mr.Kanthi Kiran Sr Vice-President of Religare Finvest Ltd gave away the prizes to the winners and runners of the tournament respectively. 

Mr.Abdul Hadhe, MD of Aero World, Mr.Karamchand Kamaraj State Head of Future Capital, Mr.Pravin Kumar, MD of Glister Solution were present on the occasion. 

Balaji, Religare Finvest Ltd, bagged the man of the match award for his unbeaten 43 of 32 balls. His team mate Stalin was adjudged as the best bowler and Ram Kumar was the best batsman of the tournament. Krishna Raj of Cholamandalam was declared man of the series. The tournament was organized by Glister Solution.
