The Metropolitan Transport Corporation has introduced new routes and new buses covering various parts of Chennai city. The new route J70 form Guindy Estate to JJ.Nagar West via Ekkattuthangal, Vadapalani, Koyambedu-CMBT, Thirumangulam and Collector Nagar is day by day getting a good response from the public.
The bus departure timings of route J70 form JJ Nagar Bus Terminus are 7.05am,8.05am, 9.25am,10.25am,11.45am,12.45pm, 2pm, 3pm, 4.20pm,5.20pm, 6.40pm and 7.40pm.
At present two buses are operated on route J70. Additional buses will be added as when patronage increases. The MTC has also increased the buses on route 70W.
