To help the poor people in the summer time, drinking water booths are set up at various public places, especially at bus stops. The photo shows people enjoying the free butter milk distributed by Chennai City Traffic Police at Azarkhana bus stop, St Thomas Mount near Guindy Kathipara junction.
Drinking water booth was erected, following special appeal from Chief Minister J.Jayalalithaa to quench the thirst of the people during the hot summer days.
