Nethrodaya proudly organised the event “Releasing of Free TRB & TNTET Audio Books for
Visually Challenged”.
Nethrodaya have been constantly striving to elevate the lives of the
differently abled by way of implementing new concepts and initiatives and have
come up with yet another novel idea. Nethrodaya, released free audio study materials for TRB
(Teacher Recruitment Board) and TNTET (Tamil Nadu Teacher’s Eligibility Test)
examinations by DR. G. Jayachandra
IAS., Secretary to Government, Law,
exclusively for the benefit of the visually challenged.
The special guests were
Dr. G. Kirupanandam, M.B.B.S., M.S.D.L.O., Apollo Hospital and Thiru P. N.
Prakash, Senior Advocate, Madras High Court. Around 300 visually challenged
candidates from all over Tamilnadu participated in this historic event.
Nethrodaya always strived to provide
academic assistance for the visually challenged students residing in rural
areas. Audio study materials have proved to be a blessing urging them to reach
greater heights and boosting them up with confidence. The
differently abled, in today’s world, are well educated, skilled, and efficient.
Today the visually challenged are performing well in all walks of life.
The
visually challenged students have no study materials in Braille format or in
audio format. Nethrodaya,is
located at No- 47/1, Nolambur Phase II, Mugappair West, Chennai-37.
