Anna Adarsh College for Women, emerged victorious in the Throw ball tournament by defecting SRM Engineering College in the finals of the Inter State Throw ball tournament conducted by Vels University, Pallavaram.
Teams from JBAS College for Women and Kumara Rani Meena Muthaiya College reached the semi-finals. The finals were between SRM Eswari and Anna Adarsh College. V.Vaijayanthy got the best player award and received a cash prize.
The College Principal Jayashree Ghosh, felicitated the team and Thirupathy Raju, coach, R.Suganya Physical Director and C.Seethalakshmi Assistant Physical director. About 14 teams from various colleges such as MIT, Dr.MGR University, Hindustan University, SS Jain College and the host team Vels University actively participated in the tournament to win the trophy.
