Vocational Excellence Awards by Rotary Club of Madras Chenna Patna was given to R.Chithra Priya and Anaka Alankamony. The Brave Heart Award was presented to R.Chithra Priya and the Young Achiever award was presented to Anaka Alankamony.
R.Chithra Priya, rides to create history, break and make new world Records. She is the only girl from India to hold the title of ‘The World’s Toughest Motorcycle Rider’ and is also the only girl to be amongst the Best Bikers in India, braving the World’s highest motorable pass, ride the entire length and breadth of India on the motorbike.
She is the first girl racer and winner of many more titles.For the first time, in India, a girl rode alone for 24 hours, covering a distance of 1650kms to be certified "The World's Toughest Riders".
Now, this is what I have achived, putting India on the map on a Global Scale, as the first female from India to finish this, and to be featured in the Limca Book of World Records 2013 and in the already in the international record Books of SaddleSore.
The SaddleSore is an endurance ride, where I would have to ride for 1000miles (1600kms) within 24hours. Once successfully completed, I will receive the title as ‘The World’s Toughest Riders’ which is a prestigious title in the motorcycle fraternity and my name has been entered in the international forum.
The Iron Butt Association (IBA) is a US-based organization dedicated to endurance motorcycle riding with over 35,000 members world-wide who tout themselves as the "World's Toughest Riders."
