Unfinished Civic Work At 11th Main Road

The Chennai Corporation  is constructing storm water drains  to prevent water logging, but it has not been completed properly. 

The area looks untidy and the uneven surface makes movement difficult for pedestrians and motorists. The Storm water drain construction in 11th Main Road, Anna Nagar has been done in bits and pieces, and there seems to be no continuity. 

There are lot of open gaps. At some places the manholes are open without any lid. This is risky for road users. 

The storm water drainage work that has begun, has to be finished properly. The residents stated that the concerned authorities should finish the work completely in one place, rather than leaving it unfinished.
