A row of shops and business concerns in Blue Star complex, such as Parvathy Bhavan, Apollo Studio, Sleepwell Furniture, Juice land and a paper mart have vacated their premises since they have been acquired by Chennai Metro Rail project. The shops were given a 48-hour notice to vacate. The other shops have also being issued notices to vacate in 15 days.
The work of Metro Rail is on in full swing along Anna Nagar Second Avenue Road junction.
