The busy one way stretch of Shanthi Colony 4th Avenue from 3rd Main Road till 13th Main Road in Anna Nagar is without streetlights. The center median has only the post, but no lights are attached on it.The absence of streetlights on this busy Road is posing problems for motorists. The illumination from the headlights of vehicles is not enough on the road. At night pedestrians find it difficult.
The road also has some rough patches and lights would make driving safe. The which links Third Main Road to 100 Feet Road, is being preferred by several motorists to reach Mogappair, Koyambedu and Padi.The work to install lights needs to be taken up. The road being a congested one, the lack of lighting is a cause of concern for motorists and pedestrians.
