The photo shows a huge amount of debris lying below the Koyambedu Flyover along 100 Feet Road. The Chief Minister Jayalalithaa on Monday announced a three-month mass cleaning programme to remove garbage and stagnant water in the various localities of Chennai city and the suburban areas. Unmindful of the consequences, debris was being dumped in the open space under the Koyambedu flyover.
The area below the flyover has not been utilized properly. The dumping of debris and stones is making the place dirty and gives a bad impression. Small patches of greenery can be created below the flyover to beautify the area.
