Damaged Footpath Along Kurinji Colony

 Broken slabs, damaged surface on footpath along Kurinji Colony, 4th Avenue, Shanthi Colony saths are forcing pedestrians to use congested and traffic-prone one way stretche. At various spots, the slabs are missing, putting pedestrians to lot of hardships. 

The big gap along the pavement at the entrance of the colony has become an eyesore. If you are walking towards Thirumangulam  be wary, for there is a wide gap in the pavement. Residents complain that the broken pavement has been lying unattended for years now and no action has been taken to repair it. 

 Its condition has been steadily deteriorating over the last few years and no efforts have been made to mend it. Pedestrians are facing much difficulty while walking on the footpath, which is in a shambles.It is very dangerous and life threatening when such gaps exist in the footpath. Senior citizens and children walk on the pavement and it should be maintained properly with utmost priority.
