Many diversion boards, indicating the changed routes and 'no entry' board has been installed at several intersections in Anna Nagar Avenue roads and main roads to alert motorists.
The diversion boards installed at various places is to inform the vehicle riders one way system.
Because on several occasions the motorists miss them and enter the zone. Chennai Metro Rail officials stated that they regret the inconvenience being caused to the road users. We will try and finish the work as soon as possible, they added.
The photo shows a big board’s which are put up at the junction of 13th Main Road and Second Avenue road near Thirumangulam, so that motorists don't enter the one way road and waste their time. To avoid traffic jams, metro rail staff and Traffic Policemen are posted at various junctions in Anna Nagar.
