There is deep big roadside pit left open on busy School Road, near the Thirumangalam Police Station. According to local residents, the spot was dup for storm water drainage work. The open spot is a big nuisance for pedestrians and motorists. The spot is very unsafe for the road users. Pedestrian often fall victims to open pits and manholes.
At night, pedestrians can easily slip and fall down. The open spot is very dangerous. Barricades needs to be placed immediately, until pit gets covered.
