The stretch of Anna Nagar Second Avenue is a busy and frequently used by heavy vehicle traffic. A caved and broken cover at the corner of 6th Main Road and Second Avenue Road, near Ayyappan Temple was making driving experience not just irksome but also dangerous at times. A wheel of a vehicle can easily get stuck. Gaps and uneven spots in the middle of main road has endangers the lives of pedestrians and motorists.
After the situation was brought to the attention of the authorities concerned, restoration work was undertaken. The dip was filled up with sand and stones and later to leveled. Now the spot is not posing a hindrance to the pedestrians.
