The Federation of Science clubs of Tamil Nadu ( FSCT) a silver jubilee Science popularization organisation ,Chennai - 17 has organised Sky Watch programme at All India Tourism & Industrial Trade Fair at Island Grounds Chennai with the association of Chennnai District Education Dept. Mr.M.Ravikumar General Secretary , FSCT explained the facts and information about solar system , a few planets' movements & secrets with a close look of Moon through a telescope. The public who visited the fair turned up towards Education Department’s wing where this sky wonders were focused.
The school students and children enjoyed and delighted on seeing the Moon at a closer look. Mr.S.Padmanaban,Thiruvotriyur Ariviyal Mandram demonstrated the various historical developments made so far towards analyzing the solar system.
Shri P.Kuppusamy, the Chief Educational Officer, Chennai District, Chennai - 15 has has guided and arranged this telescopic sky watch for the public, especially the students for the enrichment of science in an easy way. FSCT has organised an awareness program on radiation to science teachers in Chennai recently at MCC Higher Secondary School Chetpet.
