Motorists using the 4th Avenue Road stretch between Anna Nagar Round Tana and Thirumangalam have a difficult experience to drive along potholes, which is causing inconvenience to the road users. The potholes needs filling and blacktopped.Many parts of the road are battered and give motorists a bumpy ride.
As a one way zone, Shanthi Colony Main Road has constant movement of vehicle riders as well as public transport buses. The volume of traffic is quite high thought out the day.
The existing 3 MTC bus stops located at Anna Nagar round tana Blue Star and 12th Main road on II Avenue towards Thirumangalam are also shifted to the parallel road IV Avenue (Shanthi colony).The CMRL is undertaking underground station work in 3 places from Thirumangalam to Chintamani on II Avenue Anna Nagar.
