Jain Temple Built For World Peace

The Kumbhabhishekam at Jain Temple was performed on the 29th of January 2012 At around 9 am . The name Anjan Shalaka is given to the ceremony of decorating the eyes of new idols of Jins with collyrium made of many special substances  to be carried out at an auspicious and sacred period, at midnight .The smearing of collyrium to the eyes of the image with a gold-stick was  done  by the His Holiness

Shri  Acharya Bhagavant  Srimad Vijay Rajyashsurishwarji Maharaj saheb . This event was an historical event  and people could experience bliss and sovereignity .This is one of its kind temple in India where the idols of 24 Thirthankaras (the 1st being Lord Adinath and 24th being Lord Mahaveer ) are made of  semi precious stones .

In the main domb which is massive 83 foot high , 41" huge ,  beautiful idols of 4 thirthankars Shri Sheetalnath , Shri Suparshwanath , Shri Shantinath , Shri Kunthunath have been placed . The main idols and the dhvaja-kalash on the top of temple was placed by Prithviraj , Suresh and Hitesh Kawad  . Hitendra Munoth ,Co-convenor of publicity team said that the main attraction of the event was   HELICOPTER specially arranged for sprinkling flowers on the temple and people were stunned by this beautiful gesture  .This was followed by Shri Shanti Ashtotatri Mahapuja , which is considered to be very auspicious  for world peace and welfare of all.  The ceremonies had started from 22nd of January whereby everyday various auspicious pujas , rituals were being conducted followed by the Play-Birth to Nirvana Of  Lord Sheetalnath . This play depicted the life history of Lord Sheetalnath and  was staged everyday from 10 am to 2 pm at the venue .

To add to the festivities every night 8 pm onwards there was a Bhakti programme whereby eminent performers from all over India had come and perform  . Apart from all this ,  the organisers  also did their part towards charity by helping the needy and feeding animals . On 28th of January 2012 , Saturday a huge procession from Shri Aradhna Bhavan ( Mint Street ) to the Shri Sheetalnath 24 Tirthankar Jinalaya was taken out  whereby thousands of devotees turned up to grace the occasion .

 On this auspicious occasion a Nine day programme has been organised with various pujas , plays , performances , bhakti and other festivities starting from 22nd January to 29th January 2012 . The Kumbhabhishekam would be performed under the aegis of His Holiness Acharya Bhagwant Srimad Vijay Rajyashsurishwarji Maharaj saheb and his disciples on the 29th of January 2012 at around 8 am.                      

This Kumbhabhishekam ceremony and the entire nine day fest is being organised by Sankarji Prithviraj Kawad Trust.
