High Quality Kidney Care Centre Inaugurated

Quality Kidney care has long been overdue in a city like Chennai where between 2,500 and 3,000 new cases of Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) crop up every year. DaVita NephroLife, a leader in kidney care services in India has further enhanced its presence in Chennai with the opening of an exclusive Flagship Centre in Kilpauk, to provide India’s first high-end kidney care under the guidance of renowned nephrologists. 

This new centre is in addition to two other centers in Chennai at BRS Hospital, Nungambakkam and Kumaran Hospitals at Poonamallee High Road that are operated by DaVita NephroLife.

The centre is the first standalone kidney centre of its type where nephrology, vascular access and urological procedures will be performed in a day-care environment. “Our integrated care model at our center provides everything from out-patient nephrology to dialysis to complex surgeries for salvaing vascular accesses, which are a lifeline for dialysis patients”, said Shriram Vijayakumar, Founder and MD, DaVita NephroLife. 

The state-of-the-art centre comprises a surgical suite, short stay in-patient facilities, specialities in nephrology, vascular surgury, urology and Chennai’s first ever location for networked dialysis.
