Surabi Trust having obtained permission from Corporation of Chennai to provide nutritious supplement at mid morning time to the children of standard 5 in 20 Corporation Middle and Primary schools in Zone-6, covering nearly 550 children. This nutritious supplement will be provided daily to the children, as most children are not having breakfast and are unable to concentrate studies.
This project is named as "BALAMITRA". Chennai Mayor Saidai Duraisamy launched this program on 24th of February 2012 at Chennai Corporation Primary school located at GKM Colony, Kolathur.
