An interaction session with Worshipful Mayor Thiru Saidai S. Duraisamy on 18-2-2012 at 13-B Park Road, Anna Nagar Western Extension, Chennai – 101 (Association premises) Thiru V. Alexander Corp. Councillor also participated.
Dr.K.S.Palaniswami President presided over the meeting. While delivering the presidential address he emphasized on the neglect of Anna Nagar under JNNURM in construction of storm water drains and insisted that the feeder Nallah to Otteri Nallah in this area should be restored to its original draining capacity. The relaying of park road with plastic technology under GRID pattern was stressed by him.
Vice President Thiru JMS Nagarjunan highlighted immediate removal of encroachments and interfering and disturbing in discharging duties of Corporation and other sector officials by certain politicians. Thiru P.Vadivel Secretary while presenting a list of grievances to be addressed emphasized on lighting of 4th avenue and laying of 10th street in D sector with storm water drains.
He also insisted on removal of encroachments. Association has submitted a detailed report of civic issues. Worshipful Mayor assured to take up the grievances highlighted in the petition at the shortest possible time. JMS Nagarjunan, Vice President proposed vote of thanks. Anna Nagar Western Extension association has organized the event.
