There is an open manhole at the entrance of Government of India, Central Government Staff Quarters, Kendriya Vidyalaya School, along 100 Feet Road, near Thirumangalam which is causing serious problems for the residents, especially the school children.
This open manholes without a cover is a danger for pedestrians and motorists alike. These also cause accidents as vehicles get trapped and damaged in these open manholes.
Sticks are placed as a temporary measure to alert the road users. People would sustain injuries if they accidentally fall into uncovered manholes.
The open spot could cause serious accidents so it should be covered for ensuring safety of the motorists before any untoward incident happens.
With no barricades or warning signs, it has been posing a big threat to motorists on the road which connects Mogappair, Thirumangalam and Shanthi Colony Road.
