The photograph taken shows the on going construction work for the under ground Tower Park Metro Train station along 2nd Avenue Road, Blue Start junction in Anna Nagar.
The underground tunnels of Chennai Metro Rail l will be reinforced with concrete walls which will shore up the tunnels as it passes underneath busy roads and buildings across the city.
Work on the underground sections of CMRL (Chennai metro rail limited) is gaining momentum in Thirumangalam, Anna Nagar and Shenoy Nagar.
CMRL officials said the work would be started by end of February. According to official sources, the gigantic tunnel boring work is likely to begin shortly.
