Risky Bus Journey By School Students

An everyday scene of students hanging, running and jumping into crowded buses at Padi Lucas TVS bus stop. A huge number of students  take the Metropolitan Transport Corporation (MTC) buses to school every day. 

Many of them travel in  overcrowded bus or hang on the foot board. Drivers and conductors of Metropolitan Transport Corporation (MTC) buses plying on routes through Mogappair, Ambattur and Avadi are at the receiving end.   

On  some occasions, college students climbing atop the buses. It is reported that school students travel in footboard even when there is space inside the bus.

It has become very common to see the school and college students travelling on footboard on routes connecting Avadi and Mogappair. Footboard travel could be very risky. What the students  don’t realize is that with the impact, they could loose  balance and fall off a running bus.
