As part of the ongoing 23rd Road Safety Week celebration, the Chennai City Police Commissioner J.K.Tripathy, had recently distributed road safety pamphlets to the motorists and advised them to drive to obey all road traffic rules. Senior Police Officers and Traffic Police officials were present on the occasion.
This year slogans like “accidents bring tears, safety brings cheers” and Road Safety Rules on huge banners are displayed at city traffic junctions.
The Chennai Traffic Police will do their best create road safety awareness based on different themes. Traffic police officials will interact with motorists on safety issues.
