The work of relaying Nelson Manickam Road using plastic-mixed bitumen is in progress and it is expected to be completed soon. Saidai S. Duraisamy (Mayor) and P. W. C. Davidar (Corporation Commissioner) had inspected the work on Nelson Manickam Road. A total of 1250-meter stretch of the road will have a 22500-sq. ft of plastic surface.
