Group Exhibition

Carnatic Music Competition


Shirdi Sai Vidhya Arambh located at No- 59/70,Thirumangalam road ,Villivakkam had  recently conducted Carnatic music competition and get-together function and interaction session with parents. The last batch of such event took place  on 30th April. D.A.V School  ( Mogappair ) music teacher Mr Parthasarathy was the chief guest and judged the students singing performance and distributed the certificate and prizes.Competitions were organized in different levels for sub junior ,junior and seniors.

In sub junior level Varsha from N.S Vidhya Peetam won the first prize Nishitha from Chinmaya Vidhyalaya won the second prize Thanuja from Scharam Academy won the third prize .In the junior level Soundarya from Chinmaya Vidhyalaya won first prize and Soujanya from the same school won the second prize .the third prize was shared by two students Akshya from Sindhi model and Sai ram from S.B.O.A School . 

Vinisha took consolation prize.In the senior levell Sridevi  from Bhaktha Vatsalam Vidhya Shram won the first prize Nithya from D.A.V junior college won   the  second place Shantha from Anna Adarsh college took third prize and Harini from Padmasarangapani school won consolation prize.The parents are all praise for the way the competition was organised and  conducted and they congratulated and passed their best wishes to the organiser Mrs Sathyabama.

Road Safety Hoarding


The Chennai City Traffic Police has installed road safety tips at various traffic signal junctions in the city. The photograph shows a hoarding at the Poonamallee High Road junction, near Anna Arch, advising motorists not to use their mobile phone, while driving making or receiving a call, even using a hands-free phone, can distract your attention from driving and could lead to an accident. 

A number of road safety awareness campaigns and events are regularly organized by the Traffic Police, which mentioned the importance of obeying the traffic rules and to cooperating  with the traffic police. The Chennai Traffic Police always try to bring new concepts and ideas to make people understand the importance to follow road safety rules.
