To ensure safety at the signal junctions, the Chennai City Traffic Police is taking stringent action to curb traffic violators. In Anna Nagar Second Avenue Road it is common sight to see motorists, especially two wheelers and autos going in the wrong direction causing a hindrance in the way of the vehicle moving.
The Traffic Police will be strict and book violators jumping traffic signals, making un authorized turns, parking in an disorder manner.
The pedestrians are the worst hit as they have to doge the vehicles coming in all directions. At present wrong side driving of the road and signal violation, and turning freely despite no Free Left Signs is common along Second Avenue and Third Avenue Road in Anna Nagar. The Anna Nagar Traffic police will take action against violators.
