The construction work on pillars at the flyover construction site near Thirumangalam signal and Mogappair Junction is picking up speed. The construction of a flyover is in progress along Inner Ring Road, connecting two signals at Anna Nagar Second Avenue-IRR and Mogappair Road junctions.
The construction of much-awaited Thirumangalam flyover on the busy 100 Feet Road stretch in the city needs to completed soon. The flyover will facilitate smooth flow of traffic across two intersections. Anna Nagar Residents said the traffic diversion on 13th Main Road for vehicles proceeding from Mogappair to Koyambedu into narrow streets as it is risky and results in traffic pileup.
