New Haemodialysis Machine Will help Poor People

A Haemodialysis machine's life is 5 to 6 years. M/s. Thatikonda Vatsala Ramachandra Foundation has come forward to donate a New Haemodialysis Machine for Tanker Foundation. The Machine will be inaugurated by Dr. A. Rathnasabhabathy, Chairman of  M/s. Thatikonda Vatsala Ramachandra Foundation at Rekha Memorial Tanker Foundation Subsidized Dialysis Unit, No. 766, Poonamallee 

High Road. TANKER (Tamilnad Kidney Research) Foundation is a registered non-profit charitable organisation started in June 1993 with the aim of helping under-privileged patients with kidney disease by giving subsided dialysis and one time financial help for medication, investigation and transplantation and spread awareness about kidney disease. 

Kidney failure  is the third largest killer after malignancy and heart disease. Millions suffer from some form of kidney disease and many of them, particularly in India cannot afford the cost of treatment or care. Tanker Foundation have completed 18 years of service contributing to the field of healthcare, research, training and advocacy with the purpose of helping underprivileged patients with kidney failure. 

The Foundation  has conducted 194 Awareness Programmes about kidney disease in schools, colleges, law enforcement offices & public forums reaching out to over 40,000 people.
