Nandi Fine Arts will be presenting a Jugalbandi on 1st Jan 2012 with Dr. M. Lalitha Violin and Avaneendra Sheolikar - sitar at 9. 30 am at Sastri Hall. Dr M Lalitha will be performing Violin Solo for Sadhguru Santhananda Kalaa Kendra on 30th December 2011 at 6.15pm.
She will be accompanied by Neyveli Ramkumar on Mridangam and Vatapadrimangalam Ramani on Kanjira / Konnakol. M. Lalitha has been awarded the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in Indian Music, from the University of Madras for her thesis A Comparative Study of the Violin Techniques in Western and South Indian Classical Music. She has won several prizes, awards and titles by various organizations in recognition of her talent and dedication in the field of South Indian Classical
