The Chennai Corporation has done lots of development and improvement work towards conserving the greenery in the city. The Chennai Corporation has converted many open places into green public parks which are getting a good response from the public.
A few good examples is the parks at Jai Nagar along 100 Feet Road in Koyambedu opposite CMBT complex and the park near Ampa Skywalk along Poonamallee High road and Nelson Manickam road point.
Both in the mornings and evenings lots of people visit the park which has walkers path, benches and a play area for children.
The park below the Perambur flyover is full of people every day. The space below the Koyambedu flyover and Perambur Loco bridge can be also developed into parks
