The North Chennai District Exnora organized tree plantation in the ICF Institute's garden on 16th November 2011.
Giving importance to flowering and fruit bearing trees and to attract birds, bats, butterflies and bees etc which will contribute to maintain bio-diversity and pollination in the garden, tree saplings like Bassica Lactifolia (Madhuca indica), Cassia Fistula (Indian Labernicum), Javanica indica , Millingtonia (Mara- malli) Sumithia (Swarna pushpam), Custard Apple, Mango etc were selected for plantation.
In the inaugural function four saplings were planted by the staff of the institute including the Welfare Inspector Mr Shivakumar, besides the President Exn K Ramadoss of Exnora International. Mr Shivakumar presided the event. He assured to take good care of the saplings.
