The members of Anna Nagar Western Extension Association are thankful for the development works carried out by at the Millennium Park.
During a felicitation function held recently, Mr.JCD Prabakaran' MLA and Mr.S.Vedachalam,MLA planted Magilam saplings in the Millennium Park.
Some of the development work which was carried out earlier is walk way constriction, rain shelter in the middle of the park, toilets, lawns with flower plants, lights and grill gate at the entrance.
The Anna Nagar Western Extension Association appeals to the Ambattur Municipality for providing basic infrastructure facilities like better play equipments for children, development of Western area, providing Shuttle Cork indoor court, setting up additional light facility and increasing the compound wall along the western side.

It is reported that a separate Sub-Committee consisting of the Association President Dr.KSPalaniawami, Executive Committee members Thiruvalargal, R.Ponnusamy, P.Jayanathan and Du Prakash has been constituted to suggest park development and maintenance work and also to look after the day to day affairs of the park. Ambattur Municipality has developed play spaces and parks in AP Plot B-Sector. The C-Sector residents association is taking care of the park and maintenance it well.
