The Metropolitan Transport Corporation has launched a luxury mini bus service from Airport to Anna Nagar and to Egmore Railway Station. The new Ashok Leyland buses are fitted with GPS facility. The buses have latest facilities and separate space for luggage. The bus service towards Anna Nagar will halt at Kathipara bridge, Kasi, Udhayam Theatre, Ashok Pillar, Vadapalani, CMBT-Koyambedu and Thirumangalam.
The bus service to Egmore Station from Airport goes through Guindy, Anna University, Adyar, Mandaveli, Adyar Gate Hotel, Cathedral road and Mount Road. The buses will be operated at one hour intervals . The bus starts from Airport at 6.35am, 7.45, 8.35, 9.45, 10.35, 11.45, 12.35, 1.45, 4.35, 5.45,6.35, 7.45,8.35, 9.45,10.35 and 11.45pm. The bus leaves Anna Nagar West Depot at 5.30am, 6.45,7.30, 8.45, 9.30,10.40, 11.30, 12.40, 3.30, 4.40, 5.30, 6.40, 7.30, 8.40, 9.30 and 10.40pm.
