Bus passengers using the Chennai Mofussil Bus Terminus at Koyambedu will find out that changes are made in the current system of bus movement and in the boarding and alighting of passengers.
As the Metro Rail work elevated stretch pillar work is under construction within the CMBT premises, the entry and exit points of out station buses have been changed.
In the recent months, CMBT at Koyambedu has seen many changes in view of traffic movement and bus lanes.
Already the new bus lanes for Metropolitan Transport Corporation buses is operational. The construction of the metro rail has led to changes and diversion of traffic in and around Koyambedu. Change in direction of out station buses at CMBT and private buses are made to ease vehicular low at I00 fEET Road, Koyambedu Market road and Kaliamman Koil Road in Koyambedu area.
