he time taken for motorists and fuel spent to cover the two-km stretch of Jawaharlal Nehru Salai between Anna Nagar and Koyambedu has increased with a portion of the road taken for the flyover project at the Thirumangalam junction.
As the work on the elevated stretch from Koyambedu to St Thomas Mount, a part of the ambitious Metro Rail project in Chennai, is expected to be completed by the end of 2013 The 100 Feet Road in Koyambedu has been taken up for pillar laying from Ashok Nagar.
