The Tamil Nadu Women Yoga Association conducted an Inter-State Women Yoga Competitions on 11th September 2011 at Maharishi Vidya Mandir School. S.Sujitha, student of Valliammal College for Women, Anna Nagar East won the championship and was the winner in the common round of the category Champion of Champions of State selection level. E.Jayanthi and Anuish also from Valliammal College for Women emerged victorious in the Inter-State Yoga championship competition.
The students were presented with a Cup, medals and certificates. Dr.T.V.S. Padmaja is the Principal of Valliammal College for Women, appreciated the students for their good performance and bring name and fame to their Institution.
