The Metropolitan Transport Corporation bus stop in Anna Nagar West for buses going towards Ambattur, Padi and Redhills needs to be shifted after the signal near West bus Depot.
The area residents request the MTC authorities to shift the bus stop to a spacious site available along the Anna Nagar West Depot side.This will help commuters and pedestrians besides relieving traffic snarls.
According to the Anna Nagar Western Extension Association, bus passengers are put to hard ship due to the shifting of the bus stop near Periyar Community Hall to SS.Mahal (Pioneer Colony).
A request has been made by the Anna Nagar Western Association Members to the Metropolitan Transport officials to take steps to shift the bus stop in front of the Anna Nagar West bus depot.
