Shri Krishnaswamy College, Anna Nagar celebrated Onam traditionally in the college auditorium.
A pookalam was formed with enthusiasm and fervour by the students of the College, under the able guidance of Ms.Vimala, Faculty, Department of Tamil.
The program started with a Malayalam prayer song, followed by a presentation tracing the origin and significance of Onam by Ms.Chandrika, Faculty, Department of Tamil.
The students performed a cultural dance around the pookalam signifying the importance of Onam. The Teachers showed their solidarity by wearing the traditional Onam Sari and had an Onam Sadhya for lunch.
