The small and narrow Mettupalayam-Perambur High Road Railway underpass was full of stagnant rain water. Two-wheelers riders struggled a lot to cross the waterlogged underpass.Water logging during the rainy season at the underpass connecting Vyasarpadi and Perambur is a regular feature.
This under pass is helpful for motorists coming from Perambur, Kolathur, Sembium, Tiru.Vi.Ka Nagar to reach Parry's, Purasawalkam and Anna Nagar quickly.
The underpass is meant to link North Perambur High Road with Cooks Road in Jamalia Nagar. But using it is an ordeal, especially during rain, the residents said.
