The construction of the new Aminjikarai additional bridge facility along Poonamallee High Road has been completed. The bridge has now been opened for vehicle traffic movement. Motorists proceeding towards Anna Nagar, Nungambakkam, Arumbakkam and CMBT-Koyambedu are using this new facility which is located near by Ampa Sky Walk mall. The old bridge was narrow and caused traffic jams. The newly build bridge will surely go a long way in easing traffic congestion, especially at Poonamallee High Road and Nelson Manickam Road signal point near the Anna Nagar Arch.
