Many people cross the city roads risking speeding vehicles. The pedestrian subways have poor illumination and lack of cleanliness.
Hawkers and beggars occupying the subways also cause inconvenience to the public. The photo taken shows the Nungambakkam Railway Station subway lying in a neglected condition
