The city of Chennai has many road side parks and traffic islands. This reduces the carbon-di-oxide content in the atmosphere. The Corporation has installed water fountains in many traffic islands, but it is not activated for days. The photo shows one such water fountain at the junction of 6TH Avenue road and Third Avenue road in Anna Nagar. The fountain is lying neglected and forgotten. The water fountain if activated will certainly a feast to the eyes.
